(Tucson, Arizona- July 4, 2023) Last night, a local man involved with the foster community and a friend of Spreading Threads Clothing Bank, died following a tragic accident that occurred yesterday morning at Spreading Threads Clothing Bank, located at 2945 N. Flowing Wells, Tucson, AZ, 85705.

Dalton Lee, 35, who has owned DC Gencon HVAC with his wife, Caty, since 2006, was on the roof of the clothing bank installing a new air conditioning unit shortly before 8 a.m. yesterday morning. He had subcontracted a crane operator to help move the new air conditioning unit onto the roof. As the air conditioning unit was being lowered onto the roof, Dalton was holding the chain to help guide its placement. At the same time, the crane operator was moving the unit into place, the crane touched an electrical line overhead. Dalton was electrocuted as a result and was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. Dalton was unable to recover from the devastating injuries he sustained as a result and died in the hospital last night.
