Award part of OneAZ’s $330,000 Community Impact Grant Program
TUCSON, AZ (June 26, 2023)– OneAZ Credit Union is proud to award a $5,000 Community Impact Grant to Spreading Threads Clothing Bank for their work improving the lives of foster children in its community. Spreading Threads Clothing Bank is one of 66 nonprofit organizations that received one of the OneAZ Community Impact Grant.

This will allow us to continue to operate and provide clothing, shoes, books, toys, hygiene products, school supplies, and much more for youth living in foster care. These funds will help us fulfill our important mission of fostering dignity in Southern Arizona’s foster children.”
Since 2016, the OneAZ Community Foundation has provided more than $1 million in grants and funding to Arizona nonprofit organizations through this program and other donations. Funding for the Community Impact Grant program is made possible in large part due to OneAZ members’ debit card usage. This sustainable funding model allows OneAZ to equitably distribute donations to communities where our members live and work.

The mission of Spreading Threads Clothing Bank is to provide gently used and new clothes and items to foster, foster/adoptive, and kinship families in southern Arizona in order to decrease their financial burden and provide clothes that children feel good wearing.
