TUCSON, Ariz. (KVOA) – With more than 10,000 children in foster care across Arizona and only about 1,851 licensed foster families available, two Tucson nonprofits are teaming up to address this gap.
The Foster and Adoptive Council of Tucson (FACT) and Spreading Threads Clothing Bank will host a foster care recruitment and resource fair on Sept. 29.
The event is set from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Spreading Threads Clothing Bank, 2945 N. Flowing Wells Road.
