TUCSON (KVOA) – Executive Director Michele Wright, who has been running the Spreading Threads Clothing Bank for 13 years, said she relies on used clothing donations to help children currently in foster care.
Wright said the outdoor donation drop bin has been broken into three times, She said they believe it is happening mostly at night. The nonprofit has had to replace its locks many times to prevent items such as clothing, shoes, toys and books from being stolen.
